Giggleswick School is seeking to appoint an IT and Data Manager to join its friendly and hardworking IT team in the School's IT Department. Giggleswick is a proud Microsoft Showcase School which is supported by a professional and busy IT department which comprises two IT Technicians, managing all aspects of the School’s IT Infrastructure and the daily requests of a busy day and boarding school.

The post-holder is expected to uphold the values and ethos of Giggleswick School and act as an ambassador for the School.

The IT and Data Manager will work collaboratively with the Headmaster, Bursar and the Senior Leadership Team to inform the design, co-development and implementation of the School’s IT, Digital and Data Systems strategies. The successful applicant will oversee and measure the service delivered by the IT Service Desk including but not limited to IT infrastructure, Management Information Systems (MIS), IT Systems & Device/User Training. Developing appropriate IT policies and sharing knowledge through training and regular communication will be key aspects of this role.

The IT and Data Manager will also work closely with the Bursar to implement new Data Governance principles and Business Intelligence systems; to allow the school to harness, analyse and act on its data. It is expected the post holder will be the technical lead for the IT Department to drive through both Infrastructure and Applications projects and change management.
