Hamblin Education Trust - IT Entry Level Technician
The Hamblin Education Trust has operated since September 2016 consisting of two schools, North Cestrian School and Altrincham Grammar School for Boys. We are currently looking to recruit an IT Entry Level Technician to support the smooth running and day to day aspects of IT operations within the Trust.
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Entry level Technician to join our school’s IT technical support team working term time only. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a school environment. The successful candidate will handle routine technical support tasks, allowing the senior team members to focus on larger projects. Along the way, you will learn and develop your skills to tackle more complex technical challenges.

Salary: NJC Pts3 (£24,027 FTE) This is a term time only role. There may be occasions when overtime may be required.

Altrincham Grammar School for Boys is an academy school based in Altrincham, Cheshire for boys aged 11-18.

The school was founded in 1912. Altrincham Grammar School for Boys is a multi-ethnic seven-form entry 11-18 selective Academy School. It caters for boys who have been selected for a grammar school education from a wide area of South Manchester and North Cheshire. The academic results are outstanding and they place the School in the top 20 maintained schools in the country. Our GCSE results are strong in respect of 9/8 grades and our ‘A’ level results in respect of A*/A/B grades. The 2022 Ofsted Report graded the School as ‘Outstanding in all area’.
