We are seeking to appoint an IT Manager to support our exemplary Whole School Pastoral Support provision here at Notre Dame School!

Our Academic and Extra-Curricular Digital Support plays a fundamental role across our whole school, from Prep School to Sixth Form.

We have comprehensive facilities for IT & Digital services, Personal Laptops for students, dedicated IT spaces along with a state-of-the-art innovation centre, and an impressive schedule of extracurricular activities.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who will play a crucial role in leading and fostering success in our IT provision for our students, staff and all our stakeholders.

You will be an accomplished and inspiring IT Manager with energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting a love of learning in young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and deliver the School’s IT strategy, aligning technology, infrastructure, data protection compliance, and budgets with the needs of the Senior and Prep Schools while providing regular updates to leadership.

  • Lead IT projects and service development, identify future technology requirements, plan network infrastructure, manage project delivery, and oversee the development of the IT support team.

  • Support teaching, learning, and staff development by working with departments to integrate technology into the curriculum, evaluating its impact on outcomes, developing IT policies, and promoting best practices through training and coaching.

  • Manage all IT operations, systems, and security, including networks, hardware, software, cybersecurity, user access, backups and disaster recovery, support services, procurement, budgets, documentation, and vendor/licensing management.

Hours of work: Permanent, Either All Year Round or Term Time Plus 3 weeks, Full Time

Remuneration:

£61,800 FTE

£51,686 Actual if Term Time Plus
