Main Duties:

  • To develop and implement the TBFT IT strategy and service provision, managing all aspects of IT technical support in the school, including the work of IT technicians.
  • To ensure the school IT systems, infrastructure and equipment are secure, safe, effective, reliable, resilient, and robust.
  • The post-holder will play a key role in developing and maintaining IT systems to meet TBFT strategic objectives, delivering the latest industry standards of performance, quality, effectiveness, and accountability.
  • The post holder will line manage the IT Technician/s.

  • Be an outstanding team player, demonstrating friendliness, professionalism, and motivation to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Have a passion for IT and be proactive in supporting our staff to expand their IT knowledge and harness it for classroom instruction and support services.
  • Possess experience with various IT software and systems, be receptive to the latest cloud technologies (if they can provide reliable, safe, secure and better value solutions), and be committed to their professional development.
  • Be vigilant regarding security and take necessary steps to protect our school and trust systems from potential cyber threats.
  • Exhibit personal integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism, serving as a role model for the personal qualities we expect from our colleagues and students.
