We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, ambitious IT Operations Manager to join our Operations Team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic professional with the ability to work alone and as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the school’s IT operations, and be committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for our school community.

This is a significant role within the support staff structure and plays a crucial role in the operational side of the school. You will have energy and drive and possess the ability to work flexibly to support the school in all aspects of IT in a school setting. You will be expected to manage a varied workload and take responsibility for the quality and delivery of IT within the school meeting the needs of all stakeholders. A firm focus on technological innovations and customer service satisfaction is key to this role. You will hold responsibility for all IT infrastructure and managing risk – security and disaster recovery/business continuity.
We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with outstanding facilities, a state of the art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield and the surrounding district.

Titus Salt School is a mixed non-denominational community school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Baildon, West Yorkshire, and was formerly known as Salt Grammar School.

The school was founded in 1896 by the politician and philanthropist Sir Titus Salt, and has about 1,500 pupils. It was originally on a different site, and used to be segregated into male and female divisions. It moved to a new building, constructed under the Building Schools for the Future programme, in 2008.
