Assist Lead Technicians in supporting network infrastructure including switches, cabling, leased line internet, firewall, WiFi and network access control to provide uninterrupted network service;
Assist Lead Technicians in supporting server and storage infrastructure and services in an enterprise Windows 2008 /2016 environment including virtualised HP servers and SAN storage, a range of databases and school-specific systems, anti-virus and other security systems, with full system and data backup and recovery;
Support client devices in teaching and support departments across the school: predominantly Dell PCs with iMacs, Toshiba laptops, Surface, iOS and other mobile devices;
Resolve first- and ultimately second-line support calls to restore service as quickly as possible;
Work with IT Service team members and other school staff to assist in researching, planning and implementing IT Service projects to fulfil the school’s Digital Strategy;
Set up and maintain users’ accounts through Active Directory and Group Policies;
Help staff and students set up and maintain WiFi connection of personal devices.
