Salary: Woldingham Pay Scale. All staff receive free lunches and coffee

You already have proven experience in an IT technical support role. You also combine excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to delivering an outstanding service. So bring your talents to Woldingham School - and be part of our friendly, welcoming and supportive team.

Close to London yet in an outstandingly beautiful rural setting, Woldingham is a happy and successful Catholic boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18. This is a truly unique school with an equally unique culture and philosophy. Building on a proud heritage that stretches back over 175 years, we’re now driving an exciting future that’s underpinned by fresh ideas, an innovative spirit and state-of-the-art facilities – all alive with the creative energy of over 500 young minds.

This really is a key role – because you’re going to provide vital 1st line support to staff and students as you work to keep our IT systems running smoothly right across the school. That will involve maintaining computers, printers, photocopiers and phones as well as overseeing software including MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Sound experience of printer troubleshooting and repair - at both a device and network sharing/server level – is essential, along with a good knowledge of Windows. An understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policies and MS Exchange Server would be extremely useful too. Just as important as your technical skills though, you should be the kind of person who takes ownership of issues and manages them through to resolution.

Closing date: 9am, Wednesday 20 March 2019.

Woldingham School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS report will be required for the successful candidate.

Staff are welcome to use our range of outstanding facilities including the gym, squash and tennis courts and the swimming pool. Our Staffroom Committee organises regular social events, and individual members of staff have even organised yoga classes and reflexology on site.
