Runnymede College are looking for an administrative assistant, specialising in database management and IT user support for an immediate start.


We are looking for a candidate who:


  • will provide IT user support: exporting data; reporting; find and extract information from historical data; develop programmes to improve the user experience
  • will handle database management School Manager - Filemaker
  • will handle IT administrative tasks related to the start and end of the academic year
  • will improve system processes in line with IT Director policies
  • will be the portal administrator using Wordpress
  • will communicate with internal users and external web suppliers


The successful applicant will have:


  • at least 2 years previous work experience in a similar role providing IT user support
  • previous user experience with Apple products (iMac, iPads, iCal), Box, Slack, MailChimp, Wordpress, Microsoft Office 365, Numbers, Pages, Keynote, etc.
  • database management experience (School Manager - Filemaker)
  • required skills: problem solving, leadership, team work, initiative, motivated self learner, able to prioritise and make decisions, interpersonal and communication skills, customer focussed (in this case staff, pupils and parents), flexible, quick learner and adapts well to changes, etc.
  • previous work experience in an international school (desirable)
  • must be able to communication in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
