About the role

Due to increasing student enrolments, an exciting opportunity exists for an Information Technology Systems Support Officer to join our team in 2021.  This is a full-time 12 month position, initially, with the possibility of permanency from 2022.

Reporting to the IT Manager, this position is responsible for assisting current staff with supporting and maintaining information technology services across the College.  Knowledge of Audio Visual technologies would be an advantage.  The successful applicant should also ideally have effective communication skills, organisational ability, initiative and the ability to promote and work within a team environment.  They will possess, or be working towards completion of, relevant tertiary qualifications or have appropriate industry experience.

The successful applicant will contribute to the effective and efficient operation and environment of the school by providing a high level of maintenance and development of the school grounds.  You will have appropriate experience, good time management skills and an understanding of and a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education. Suitable candidates would ideally have effective communication and computer skills and practise confidentiality in all aspects of this role.

Mandatory Requirements

• A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
