We are growing fast and have implemented a state-of-the-art MPLS network connecting our 28 sites, which is continuing to expand along with the Group. Alongside this we have launched an ambitious data centre, so you will have the opportunity to gain experience within this area.
We are seeking an IT professional with a broad support skillset to provide exceptional customer service to our staff, young people and help maintain our developing IT estate. Providing first line support you’ll enjoy solving problems efficiently and presenting yourself as a dedicated, trustworthy professional. You will also be using our support desk system to track and manage calls across multiple sites.
Working alongside a dynamic support team and enjoying significant input into the development of IT in our individual schools, homes and IT systems across the Group.
You will actively support multiple sites across the North West making daily sites visits to resolve issues in an effective manner including engaging with staff teams, offering IT advice, support and maintain existing infrastructure and hardware. You will also be involved in supporting all sites across the group.
More than just a conventional IT Technician, you will bring a proven record within an IT support environment. Previous exposure, familiarity and expertise in thin client networks would be a major asset, as would supporting Windows, iOS, OSX and MDM systems preferably in an education environment.
Experience providing desktop support and working with a wide variety of hardware would be ideal.
School experience and/or networking skills will be particularly sought after. You'll enjoy interacting with staff, young people and will meet new people daily, acting as a vital part of our organisation and embodying our core values.
