 We are currently recruiting for a dynamic IT Technician who is well-qualified, enthusiastic and is passionate about improving the lives of young people.

You will lead on the maintenance of, problem solving and fault-finding for the network all related IT equipment within the school to provide an effective functioning service.

 You will assist with monitoring backups, servers and services with general daily and weekly health checks. You will be responsible for daily health checks and report checking of IT Infrastructure directly under their remit.

You will be responsible for the delegation of helpdesk tickets and general work tasks to both themselves and other members of the on-site technical team or refer on or escalate issues as appropriate.

Assisting users with the use of applications on a range of devices and ensure a rapid response to hardware/software problems from teachers and support staff that may arise during the school term.

You will provide training to other members of the on-site technical team, staff and students as required.

You will manage individual projects as directed by the Director of IT Infrastructure and Trust IT Infrastructure Engineer.

Providing technical support for the School Information Management System (SIMS) liaising with the Data Manager as appropriate

You will be a primary point of contact for third party sales and support teams

Supporting the Director of IT Infrastructure and Trust IT Infrastructure Engineer with obtaining ‘best value’ quotes for new and replacement equipment and services.
