Providing technical assistance to the Nottingham Academy, we require an experienced IT Technician to join a busy and talented team of professionals based at the Sneinton Boulevard site.

The successful candidate will:

  • possess a CompTIA A+ qualification or equivalent ICT qualification;
  • have an understanding and knowledge of a range of IT technologies;
  • be proficient in providing an efficient and effective service to both students and staff regarding IT / AV issues;
  • have first class communication skills;
  • be a strong team player;
  • have the ability to prioritise work and deadlines.

The IT department is part of the central services which is the operational arm of the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust. Currently with 27 Academies across the East Midlands, the Trust aims to help all children succeed despite their background.

 Nottingham Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Sneinton Boulevard, Nottingham. The academy has a ‘schools within a school’ model and has two other sites: Greenwood Road and Ransom Road, together offering 3,780 places for students between the ages of 3-19.

Nottingham Academy  opened in 2009. The school belongs to Greenwood Academies Trust along with 33 other academies across the UK.
