We have an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of delivering customer focused IT services to play a key role in the IT support team at our leading independent day school in the heart of Oxford.
IT is central to the whole process of teaching and learning at the School. Our network is based on Windows 10 PCs with MS Server 2012 servers with MS Office 2016 Professional, O365, GAFE and subject related software. Oxford High School has 500 Windows PCs, 300 iPads, 200 Chromebooks and other mobile devices. As a school we are keen to invest in the technologies that make the most difference in the classroom and are not tied to any particular solution.
As the IT Technician, you will maintain the School’s IT systems and assist with installing new and upgraded IT systems to ensure their integrity. The role will also involve providing technical advice to colleagues, working to ensure IT issues are resolved and developing procedures to ensure the smooth running of IT systems.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong technical understanding of IT systems, including Microsoft operating systems, and proven experience of delivering customer focused IT services.

Oxford High School is an independent, non-denominational, all-through school for girls without nursery and with sixth form, situated in three sites in Summertown, North Oxford. It is one of 26 members of the GDST (Girls’ Day School Trust), meaning it is governed by the council and operates according to the trust’s policy. The school provides 906 places for primary, secondary and sixth-form students aged 4-19.
Oxford High School was founded in 1875 and is the oldest girls' school in the city. Until recently it accepted boys into its junior school, but is now girls-only.
