Are you a skilled IT Technician looking for your next move? Do you thrive in a busy environment with a varied workload? Are you solutions-orientated, a natural problem solver and skilled in 1st and 2nd line support?

Learning Academies Trust are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, and dedicated IT Technician to join our outstanding team. As an IT Technician you will be joining our centralised ICT team to provide technical support and aid our IT Operations Manager in the delivery of planned improvements.

With 9 primary schools across Plymouth, you will be supporting over 3400 pupils and 600 employees to ensure we have a secure, compliant, collaborative, and productive IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a technical/customer support role.
  • Good technical understanding of technical infrastructure and services.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • GCSE Maths and English C/4 or above and be able to illustrate good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A-level, NVQ, or degree level qualification(s) relevant to the role of IT Technician.
  • A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle for travel across the trust.
