The Altus Education Partnership was formed in 2017 by the governing body of Rochdale Sixth Form College, an Ofsted outstanding college, currently with around 1,900 students. The College opened in 2010 and since then, it has raised achievement in the area dramatically, regularly being one of the highest performing colleges in the country.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate IT Technician to:
- Maintain Trust-wide IT infrastructure and support all aspects of teaching and learning, operational requirements, and administrative support across identified academies within the Trust.
- Support the development of technology for teaching, learning, communication, and admin functions.
- Support all sites across the Multi Academy Trust and act as the escalation point of contact for on-site Technicians at assigned sites.
- Under the direction of the Trust Head of IT, support the installation, maintenance, availability and security of the Trust-wide network, hardware, and software.
Appointment will be made on the nationally agreed Sixth Form College Support Staff pay spine, based on qualification and experience. The salary scale for this role is Scale Point 8 to 12, currently £20,565 – £23,495.
