St Benedict’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust are looking to appoint an Undergraduate IT Technician.
 

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral member of the Academy’s ICT support team and assist in the development of the network. 

You will work on a busy helpdesk ensuring incidents are diagnosed and resolved quickly. A professional, efficient helpdesk ensures minimal disruption to teaching and learning.

You will be working with the latest hardware and software technologies including; Microsoft Server 2012/ 2016, Windows 10 desktops, Apple Mac’s, Biometric Printing, Active Directory and switches supporting VOIP/ CCTV / WiFi. 

You will be directly involved a variety of ICT projects across a network of 1600+ users. The role also includes technical support for the Audio Visual systems in the 200 seat theatre. 

Previous placement students have gone on to forge successful careers with; RM Education, CapitalOne, Rolls Royce, Nottingham University & Lubrizol to name just a few. 

All previous placement students all agreed the experience gained during their placement year at Saint Benedict CVA exceeded their expectations and helped them secure employment post University.
