―Experience with Unity/Unreal Engine - animation-to-engine pipelines

Key Tasks:
―Plan and deliver exciting lessons supporting learner progression, that relate to their needs and interests
―Promote safety, wellbeing and safeguarding (CPOMS)
―Record attendance and academic notes on Arbor MIS
―Track learner progression on the allocated Google Sheets
―Develop innovative opportunities for interdepartmental and intradepartmental project collaborations
―Use a range of assessment methods and provide outstanding and prompt feedback to inspire learners
―Complete learner one-to-one tutorials and individual learning plans on a bi-termly basis
―Facilitate the wide-range of enrichment trips and guest speaker events arranged across the year
―Work towards a stable learner retention and qualification achievement rate
―Undertake in-house training to remain up-to-date with awarding body expectations
―Support learners to prepare for their assessed end-of-year project
Salary and Days of Work
―35 hours across 5 days a week for 52 weeks per year
―35 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
―This is a permanent full-time position
―Qualified teacher annual salary £33,000
―Unqualified teacher annual salary £27,810
―Start Date 19 Aug 2024

Welcome to Big Creative Training (BCT). We opened in 1999 to offer courses to disadvantaged young people and those not engaged in education, and while this is still at the very heart of what we do, we now provide courses to learners from all backgrounds and at all levels. We offer access to opportunities in the creative and cultural industries such as games design, media, music production and performance, and performing arts.
BCT has been operating for more than 20 years and we are still incredibly passionate about supporting our learners and transforming their lives. We work with them to develop their talent, increase their life chances and provide access to resources and opportunities to ensure achievement and progression in their chosen career paths.

The vision for Big Creative Training is to produce motivated, work ready young people, able to progress directly into apprenticeships, higher education, employment and enterprise in the UK’s creative economy.
