Notting Hill & Ealing High School, one of London’s leading independent girls’ day schools, is looking for an enthusiastic Lunch Time Supervisor to work with our friendly and committed team in the Junior School.  

Their key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising pupils in the dining room, ensuring that students enter the dining hall at the appropriate time according to the lunch rota
  • Ensuring girls eat in a well ordered and appropriate manner
  • Supervising the clearing of tables
  • Assisting in the dismissal of pupils after eating
  • Helping young pupils in practical ways as they are served or collect and finish their lunch
  • Assisting in the service of lunch and clearing plates etc. from the table
  • Assisting with the supervision of pupils in the playground or indoors (if wet) during the lunchtime play
  • Administering first aid if qualified to do so
  • Reporting problems or dealing with incidents as they arise according to school policy
  • Reporting any matters of concern to the Deputy Head
  • Sharing duties and assisting with extra activities and other functions as required

Previous experience is not essential but the ideal candidate will need good interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to establish positive relationships with children.
