Smart Teachers is recruiting for a part time Junior School PE Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a real passion for sport for a fixed term role from the end January 2019. The successful candidate will teach lessons across all the year groups within the Junior School. This Junior School PE Teacher is expected to be fully committed to the school’s broad extra – curricular and fixtures programme and will be encouraged to bring fresh ideas to the department and also to contribute to whole-school initiatives. The post will suit any experienced candidate or newly qualified teacher. This position is available within an independent school for girls aged 4 – 18 in Ealing, London. The school is a mixed 11–18 academy, which is truly comprehensive in its nature. 

About the Role

· Junior School PE Teacher 

· Part time

· January 2019 start

· To support the delivery of practical activities within PE lessons in order to optimise teaching and learning

· All Girls from Reception to Year 6 have 2 PE lessons a week 

· Up to £40,000 pro rata (Depending on experience)

In order to be considered for this role, the successful Junior School PE Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Experience working within a Junior  School year groups 
  • Have previous experience teaching the UK  Curriculum or an equivalent

· Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) on the Update Service
