Founded in 1970, Campion's purpose is to provide a first-class education for boys and girls aged between three and eighteen, fostering abilities both in the field of academic and general education, and in sporting activities and the performing arts. Our IB results are consistently 5 points above world average with nearly all our pupils progressing to higher education. We teach a wide range of curricula: IB Diploma, Cambridge IGCSEs, the English and Welsh National Curriculum, the International Primary Curriculum, and the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our most recent ISI inspection judged Campion to be excellent in every category. 

Due to restructuring and increased pupil numbers, we are seeking to appoint a Junior School Receptionist to work in the Junior School office. They will work closely with the Junior School administration and leadership team. 

The role requires a highly proactive individual with creativity and flexibility, who is able to deliver exceptional support to the school community. This role will involve supporting pupils, staff and parents. 

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of working in a school setting with knowledge/understanding of international/British Junior School office environments
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent time management, organisation and planning
  • Exceptional customer service and telephone manner
  • Experience working with transportation systems in schools
  • Experience of organising and tracking & monitoring school trips, including managing the development and implementation of appropriate risk assessments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products as well as Google Workspace 
  • Knowledge of the workings of a school management information system (MIS) and the MySchool database is an advantage
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluent in spoken Greek. Knowledge of other languages an advantage.

Campion School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, international independent all-through school in Greece, serving students from the age of 3-18. The all-through school is situated in the northeastern suburb of Pallini, 18 km from the Athens international airport, on its own purpose-built premises. It is a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the headmaster is a member of the Heads' Conference (HMC).

Campion School was founded in 1970, representing students from over 50 nationalities. The school moved to a state-of-the-art building in 2000, with separate primary and secondary schools managed independently on the same site. The school has a wide range of sports facilities, including a football pitch, covered sports area, running track and long jump area. Lessons are taught in English, with the opportunity of learning Greek, French, Spanish, German and Arabic. Teachers follow the British curriculum, with students sitting IGCSE exams followed by the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
