The Portsmouth Grammar Junior School is a leading co-educational day school located in the historic heart of Portsmouth.

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Junior School Secretary / Receptionist to provide secretarial and administrative support and welcome visitors to the Junior School.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT and database management skills and  a commitment to outstanding levels of customer service.

This is a term time only post with some flexibility required to support occasional weekend or evening events such as Open Mornings.  

The hours of work are 42.5 per week, 8.00 - 17.00 each day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Early applications are encouraged. Interviews are scheduled for 8 July 

A DBS check at enhanced level will be required.

ISI Report 2022

During an ISI Inspection in late 2022 both the achievement of the pupils, including their academic development and the personal development of the pupils were found to be excellent - the highest possible classification. The Inspection also looked at the School’s compliance with the regulatory standards and requirements. PGS met all the standards required.
