Although nominally a co-educational school, Pittwater House educates its students in single-gender classes on the same campus, seeking to combine the best of both single-sex and co-educational education. The school is able to boast of a wide range of modern teaching recreational facilities, and is particularly proud of its extensive range of sport’s facilities. These include a swimming pool, tennis courts, multi-purpose playing fields, a fully equipped gym, and a newly-built sports complex.
Starting at junior level, students begin to receive tuition in single-sex classrooms, before being more formally split into Boys and Girls colleges in secondary school. Students are encouraged to socialise outside of the classroom, with the school promoting a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
