Bradford Grammar School believes in providing every opportunity for its Junior and Senior pupils to embrace academic, sporting and creative excellence within an aspirational, caring environment, in which happiness is the key to an individual's success.
Clock House is an integral part of Bradford Grammar School, sharing the same campus, and provides a stimulating and challenging education for 6-11 year old boys and girls in a friendly and secure environment. The School also offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities and high quality facilities.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified teacher with a specialism in English and Humanities. The ability to teach other subjects would also be beneficial. This is a part-time role to provide maternity cover. Candidates will be committed to contributing to a full programme of extra-curricular and sporting activities.
The School has its own salary scales which are above the national rates.
Located in a cosmopolitan urban setting, but drawing equal numbers of pupils from the attractive and established suburbs of West Yorkshire and the lower Dales, the School is a flagship for independent education in the North. Above all, BGS is a happy school and a rewarding place to work.
We are an equal opportunities employer, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants are subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check and satisfactory employment references.
