Bradford Grammar Junior School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant.

The working hours are :-

Full-time during term-time (8:00 am to 4:00 pm)

The successful applicant will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to implement agreed teaching programmes to support access to learning for individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom and to have regard for the aims and objectives of the Junior School and its policies, working efficiently as part of a collegial and smooth-running Junior School team.

 

·        A relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) is required for this role.

·        Relevant experience in Reception (EYFS) and a thorough understanding of the EYFS

statutory framework (full-time role only).

·        Ability to empathise with the needs of the children.

·        Has a passion for education.

·        Ability to work calmly and efficiently.

·        Excellent communication skills and a sense of humour.

·        Well organised and punctual.

·        Excellent IT skills.

·        First aid qualification – desirable.

Bradford Grammar School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent school situated in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The school caters for children from junior school through to sixth form, aged between 6-19. Admission is by exam. There are approximately 1,120 students at the school.   

Bradford Grammar School was founded in 1662 by Royal Charter and has been based on its current site since 1949. It shares a site with its junior school, Clock House. Facilities include specialist sports grounds, a swimming pool and gym.
