Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a reliable, dynamic and fun person to support and work within our Junior School classes. The role will be predominantly based in the Year 5 learning spaces and your main role will be to support allocated class teachers with daily learning. While you will be based within a year group, we will also ask for some flexibility in completing targeted support work with specific children.
You will be based within the Junior School at Frensham and the post is for 22.5 hours per week (4.5 hrs a day – term time only. The post is accountable to the Head of Support for Learning (Junior School).
Our Junior School Day begins from 8.15am and runs until 3.30pm. Your specific hours would be based around a PT contract which spreads across the week. The breakdown of week can be discussed and negotiated further at interview and if successful.

This is a fixed contract that runs through to Wednesday 8th July 2026. There is then the high probability that there will be further opportunity (although not guaranteed) at Frensham. The role will ideally commence as soon as possible in the Spring Term 2026.

Frensham Heights School is a mixed, all-through independent day and boarding school with sixth form, situated in Farnham, Surrey. There are approximately 522 students at the school, between the ages of 3-18.
Frensham Heights School was opened in 1925 and remains on its original site. The school is constantly expanding and improving its facilities, most recently with a new studio and recital room for creative and performing arts students.
