Walhampton is an independent preparatory day and boarding school for 370 boys and girls aged 3-13. The school lies in beautiful ancient woodland on the southern edge of the New Forest near Lymington in Hampshire.
An enthusiastic and motivated teacher is required for September 2016 to join our forward thinking and nurturing junior department.
The successful candidate will be able to create a lively, stimulating classroom environment in which children feel confident to ask questions and are passionate about learning. Experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply. The junior department comprises of Years 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will become a classroom teacher for one of these year groups. A passion for this age range is crucial.
This teaching position provides a wonderful opportunity to work in a successful and vibrant Prep school with well-motivated children and small classes. An enthusiasm for extra-curricular activities and the motivation to be part of a busy and thriving day and boarding school is essential.
