We are seeking to appoint a Junior Years Science Technician who will assist in the day-to-day running of the technical support to a busy and thriving Science Department with particular responsibility for our year 6 to year 8 classes. Years 6 and 7 follow our own courses in combined science whilst year 8 embark on our own separate science courses. We are looking to work with the ASE to qualify all technicians at their appropriate level but relevant experience will be useful in such a position, though not necessarily in a school context. Ideally you would be able to take up the post  from the new academic year in September 2022.

Therefore, any applicant who is offered an interview will be asked to provide official documentation to verify their ID, address and right to work in the UK. It is also normal practice for the School to ask for original qualifications and professional membership documents as detailed on their application.

Whitgift School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, and applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding and child protection screening including checks with past employers and the Disclosure & Barring Service.
