Smart Teachers is recruiting for a specialist Key Stage 1 Teacher, with the ability to demonstrate and provide ‘Outstanding teaching practice’. Awaiting the successful candidate is the chance to join a fantastic team of staff in a reputable independent school in the London Borough of Redbridge. Beautifully located just off of a desirable and cosmopolitan high street in an idyllic setting, candidates seeking to take on a contract from September 2021 are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate must be able to implement ICT into their teaching practice and have experience of working within a Key Stage 1 environment..  

The role

To deliver an engaging and exciting Key Stage 1 curriculum to a medium size class of learners of mixed ability and some EAL children, and constantly motivate them to be the best they can be within a secure and safe environment. The successful candidate must be aware of the ‘whole’ child, providing the utmost in pastoral care during the child’s journey at this school.

• Qualified Teacher Status

• UK training

• Experience / training in the delivery of outstanding Key Stage 1 practice
