Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School (formerly known as Shrewsbury Lodge School) in Esher, Surrey is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from three to seven years. It was founded in 1912 and is part of the Shrewsbury House School Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors. It is a happy School with a welcoming environment.

From September 2018, Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School, part of The Shrewsbury House School Trust, is seeking to appoint a full-time, experienced KS1 teacher to teach a class of children and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet the needs of each individual child, covering their learning and social needs. The teacher will offer pastoral care and support, providing the children with a secure environment in which they can learn. They should have the ability to build good relationships with children, parents and colleagues and show effective communication skills. Patience, a sense of humour and a willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning are useful attributes. The successful candidate will be required to make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school, including attending whole-school annual events which may not fall in designated work hours.
