Situated in 34 acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of the Kentish village of Hawkhurst, Marlborough House is a Prep school for boys and girls aged 2½ to 13 years, with over 300 pupils. We pride ourselves on the achievement of excellent results within a happy atmosphere where the focus is on each individual child.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with a twinkle in their eye, with the energy and drive required to motivate pupils, as well as an understanding of how to support children in order to realise their full potential.
The successful candidate will work initially in a Year 2 class, working closely with the class teacher under the overall supervision of the Head of Pre-Prep. They will also work closely with the Head of Learning Support and class teachers to assist SEND pupils to achieve their potential. He/she will promote the education, care, health and general welfare of the children in his/her class.
Cheerfulness, enthusiasm, energy and drive are vital qualities for this post, as are patience and adaptability. The ability to work well with children and to be able to form good relationships with colleagues and parents alike is essential.
