Hours 27.5 hours per week

We are looking for TWO exceptional Key Stage 2 class teachers (upper Key Stage 2 experience desirable but not essential) to join the St James team from January 2016. You must be hard working, committed, caring and forward thinking and have a track record of high expectations and impressive pupil progress. The successful candidates will be team players and take responsibility for providing highly effective teaching and learning that ensures excellent outcomes for all pupils. The teachers will also take responsibility for leading an area of the curriculum.

From their different starting points pupils make good progress, especially in reading and writing, during their time in this friendly, caring school. The quality of care and additional support provided by teachers and teaching assistants enables groups of pupils, including disabled pupils and those with special educational needs, as well as those supported by pupil premium funding, to make good progress. The quality of teaching is good overall. Pupils show high levels of enjoyment and are keen to take part in all activities.”
