Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Rosemary Works is a vibrant independent primary school on the borders of Hackney and Islington with easy access to parks, the famous Regents Canal and all the wonderful places of interest that London offers. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and inspirational teacher to join our team from September 2019. Someone who puts nurturing individuals and developing skills at the forefront of their practice. We have small, one form entry classes that give teachers a fantastic opportunity to learn how each child ticks and we’re proud of the family feel the school offers them. The successful candidate must be a fully qualified teacher. S/he should be a skilful and committed practitioner, able to inspire pupils, manage a busy workload, be well organised, prepared to go the extra mile and love teaching and working with inspirational children. Liaison and continuity are strong features of the school. All teachers are expected to attend and contribute to staff meetings and to take responsibility for an area of the curriculum in line with their own areas of interest and expertise. In addition, all staff are expected to take a full part in the organisation of the school day, taking assemblies, supervising lunch and the playground etc. as required and work on exciting projects with mixed age groups weekly.
