Key Stage 2 Coordinator/Year 6 Class Teacher

Contract type: Full time according to Danish rules for folkeskole teachers.
Contract term: Fixed two year term, renewable.

Students are aged 5 to 17 years and come from all over the world. In addition to working with a strong group of international teachers, you will be able to participate fully in Danish life and culture and work within a Danish school. Aalborg has 200,000 residents, and lies on the Limfjord in Nordjylland. It is an attractive, enjoyable, clean and well provisioned city.              
 
In the International line we use Cambridge International Examinations curriculum and offer 9 subjects to IGCSE exams, including three sciences.

We are looking for an experienced professional primary teacher to lead Stage 6 to Checkpoint primary exams in English, Math and Science. We also need you to offer lower secondary English (Years 7 or 8) as well as other primary subjects.

The Coordinator role is a minor part of the post as we have one line of classes.

Applicants must:

1. Be qualified teachers
2. Have EU citizenship or a work visa for Denmark.
3. Have taught primary English
4. Be fluent English speakers.
