Key Stage 2 English Teacher (part-time)

Greenfield School and Greenfield Little School proudly occupies a spacious site close to Woking town centre, where children benefit from a modern approach to preparatory education. Offering 50 week annual nursery provision and term time schooling with flexible options for before and after school care, the school recognises the needs of working parents and provides a 'home from home' atmosphere for its pupils.

Children receive a thorough grounding and a rich diversity of opportunity which goes far beyond the merely ‘academic’ experience. Children gain in confidence and acquire the knowledge, skills and understanding that will take them comfortably into the next stage of their schooling.

Although Greenfield is non-selective it does achieve year on year scholarships to independent senior schools in the fields of music, sport, art and academia.  Children quickly establish an enjoyment for learning; this is equally apparent with children who join us from abroad and who may, on occasion, have a limited understanding of the English language.

Staff provide excellent pastoral care from the Early Years right through to Year 6 in an environment which fosters self-esteem, confidence, humility, tolerance and respect.  The school has high expectations of pupils and the high quality provision for pupils in the Pre-prep and Early Years Department gives them a very good start to their school life which leads to good achievement and very good personal development.  We greatly value our partnership with parents.
