Key Stage 2 intervention teacher required – Belper
A school in the Belper area of Derbyshire need a new key stage 2 intervention teacher to start in September. This would be working with a number of children who require extra help in order to bring their abilities in line with the rest of the children in their class. It is important to the school that the applicants for this role have experience in key stage 2 as well as a sound knowledge of the curriculum.
The school is a very forward thinking, trying to build its foundations for the future as it will see significant growth in terms of both the amount of pupils it receives and its staffing requirements. The school need a teacher who is self-motivated and driven, with the ability to impress these attributes onto the children in their care, helping them achieve good academic results as well as expanding their overall knowledge of the core subjects in preparation for key stage 3.
This position is listed as lasting from September to the end of November, however I imagine that the school is more than likely to extend it until at least the Christmas holidays, if not beyond.
