Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a full time Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching support team and to work in a local primary school in Gateshead. This role is to start September 2018 and continue to July 2019. 

This average-sized primary school has high staff morale, with a governing body that is committed to promoting progression for their Teachers. School leaders have a clear vision for the school understanding areas of strengths and areas for improvement. Progress in Key Stage 2 is good to outstanding so the school are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their existing team.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to confidently support individuals and smaller groups of Nursery children. This is a great opportunity to join the school and become part of its committed teaching team. To be considered for the position of Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant you must:

  • Have experience supporting children in primary education in Key Stage 2
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in childcare
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School Staff
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
