West Buckland is a school founded in 1858 intended to offer an excellent education based on Christian values. It stands in nearly 100 acres of grounds, surrounded by farmland, near the western edge of Exmoor. Its rural location is outstandingly beautiful. The school is now a leading, multi-cultural community for boys and girls across North Devon and beyond.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and skilful Key Stage Two teacher to join our successful and thriving Prep School.

This is a full time, permanent appointment.

The successful candidate will be a capable well‐qualified, creative and skilful Key Stage Two Teacher with experience across all Primary age groups being desirable.  

Each Form Tutor teaches their class for English, Maths and Humanities lessons along with other subject areas to be determined at interview. In addition Prep Staff are expected to coordinate a subject area.

A high level coaching expertise in Rugby, Hockey and Cricket would be advantageous.

You will be expected to contribute to the wider life of the school and its community, including clubs, activities and residential trips.
