Key Stage 2 Subject Specialist Teacher (English/Maths)

The British International School, Cairo (BISC) is seeking to appoint innovative and well-qualified Key Stage 2 English and Maths subject specialists. Person Specification:

● To comply with Egyptian employment law, applicants must have Qualified Teacher Status and a MINIMUM of three years teaching experience post-QTS.

● enthusiastic and innovative teachers with a genuine passion for teaching, who can motivate and inspire students using a variety of strategies;

● appropriate subject qualification (a degree in English/ Maths or related related discipline) and experience in teaching academically gifted pupils of this age range;

● able to stretch the more able and provide personalised intervention;

● able to work as a member of a team in a collaborative manner;

● a commitment to their professional development;

● a commitment to contributing to a holistic approach to education;

● enjoys the opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities;

Remuneration:

The British International School, Cairo (BISC) offers a highly competitive tax free salary, paid entirely in Pound Sterling and directly into a UK bank account.
