We are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher to Mount Pleasant Primary School, Falkland Islands. Mount Pleasant School is a Key Part of the British Forces South Atlantic Islands Community and provides opportunities for teaching using the resources of this unique location.

The successful candidate will:

• Set high expectations and have proven experience of ensuring good progress and outcomes for pupils.
• Have good subject and curriculum knowledge of KS2 curriculum.
• Demonstrate proven experience of making accurate assessments that inform planning and enable pupils to improve.
• Use experience of adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
• Demonstrate how effective behaviour management that ensures a good and safe learning environment.
• Be willing to make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.

For clearance purposes MOD Schools require a minimum of 3 references, these must include your current/most recent employer working with students under the age of 18 years.  These references must cover 3 years employment history prior to the time of application.
