Are you interested in an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly motivated, supportive and driven team as a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher?   This team has been working together over the last two years to create a forward thinking, successful school that provides for the academic, social and cultural needs of all children.


The successful Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher will work in this two form entry Primary School located in North Manchester.  This position will commence in January 2020 and conclude at the end of the academic year.  The school context is slowly changing with a wider range of families, ethnicities and languages being spoken. Pupil Premium is around 50%, SEN Support is 14.7%. The school was rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in June 2019.


The Headteacher has worked closely with Governors and Senior Leaders to plan for the accelerated improvement of the school so that it secures a better future. Retention of teaching staff is high and this Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher position, will add further to the establishment of a dynamic team.


The school has developed many areas, including: embedding an exciting curriculum, becoming a successful Talk for Writing school, creating a strong outdoor learning offer (including Forest school work, a thriving allotment and chickens!) assessment, intervention practice, engagement of parents and community, partnership working and becoming a Silver Rights Aware school (January 2019)

To be considered for the position of Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher you must:

*Have experience teaching primary education within a Key Stage 2 (KS2) setting

*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary Teachers

*Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
