Vision for Education are recruiting for a Science Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to work within a provision in Northumberland. The suitable Science Teacher would be planning and delivering Science to Key Stage 3/4 (KS3/4) students at an entry level/GCSE level. 

This provision caters for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) and who have been removed from mainstream education for a variety of reasons including substance abuse, challenging behaviour and complex mental health difficulties. If you have experience working with Key Stage 3/4 students with challenging behaviour, it would be beneficial to your application.

To be eligible for this position you must be:

  • A fully qualified Science Teacher holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Able to deliver Key Stage 3/4 (KS3/4) Science to disengaged students, some of whom will display challenging and disengaged behaviour
  • Due to the location of the provision, you must also be able to drive
  • Able to work 5 days per week (Monday – Friday)
