An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and able Key Stage 3 Leader to join our Geography department on a permanent basis. We are looking for an excellent practitioner to work collaboratively with the Subject Leader to develop the wider Geography curriculum, raising academic achievement and ensuring all pupils make outstanding progress in all areas.

 

The successful candidate will be:


§ Able to inspire pupils of all abilities within Geography to achieve their highest potential.

§ Able to deputise in the absence of the Subject/Faculty Leader.

§ Committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching and ability to share your practice with others in a constructive and collaborative manner.

§ Able to contribute to the strategic development of the department by implementing new initiatives, and monitoring and reporting on key outcomes within their allocated Key Stage.

§ Responsible and accountable for pupil attainment and achievement, by tracking pupil progress and supporting individual pupils’ learning needs within their allocated Key Stage.

Crofton Academy, part of Castleford Academy Trust, is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive of over 1,000 pupils offering a broad and balanced curriculum.
