An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well-qualified and highly motivated individual to take on responsibility for Key Stage 3 mathematics at the Hazeley Academy in Milton Keynes starting in January 2018. We are looking for somebody who can help to enrich our curriculum and ensure that all students have a positive start to secondary school mathematics whilst making significant progress at the same time. As a department we believe that mathematics should be enjoyable, accessible and applicable, and the successful candidate will be someone who has experience of teaching engaging lessons, sharing good practice and developing creative problem-solving resources.
This position is ideal for a confident classroom practitioner who is passionate about mathematics, has a proven track record of inspiring pupils to achieve their potential and is keen to develop both personally and professionally. The ability to teach A level mathematics is also desirable as we have high numbers of students choosing A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. We offer a thorough induction programme for new members of staff and full support and guidance will be offered for every aspect of the role.
