This is initially a full-time, temporary role for the Summer Term – with a view to being extended into the next academic year

Salary: Main/Upper Scale

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and forward-thinking Key Stage Two Class Teacher to be based in Year 3-4 at Bar Hill Primary School. You will be part of a fantastic group of teachers and teaching assistants working closely together to create exciting and creative learning opportunities for our children.

The ideal candidate:

  • QTS teaching qualification
  • Experience of teaching Key Stage Two
  •  Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues

Bar Hill Primary School is a warm and welcoming primary school situated in the heart of the village of Bar Hill in Cambridge.  We are a family of learners with hard-working children and dedicated staff working in partnership with families and the school community.   At Bar Hill Primary School, we want children to be excited about coming to school and we aim to inspire a real love of learning.  Our hope is for children to leave us as active, ambitious, and compassionate young people who can articulate their views and are prepared to meet their life challenges.

Bar Hill Primary School joined Meridian Trust in 2018 and enjoys working collaboratively with the other primary schools in the Trust most notably working closely with our local schools, Hatton Park in the nearby village of Longstanton and Histon & Impington Brook/Park Primary Schools.
