Gorsey Bank Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Kids Club Manager to join our dedicated Kids Club team. You will be welcomed into a friendly team where you will be able to enjoy a safe and happy 'home from home' play based environment. As the Kids Club Manager, you will be in charge of the Breakfast Club and the after-school clubs, ensuring the best possible service for the children who attend.

If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you.

This position is contracted on a 28 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.   • To lead the Kids Club Team at Gorsey Bank Primary School
  • To provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old in a safe, secure and stimulating environment

Key Skills & Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 or above in childcare/play work or relevant qualification
  • Good knowledge and understanding of play and how to create opportunities for a wide range of ages and interests
  • Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous

Professional Development

We attach huge importance to continued Professional Learning and recognise that, in the exciting and ever-changing environment in which we work, we are all learners and are constantly looking for ways to improve our practice.

Our comprehensive programme of in-house Professional Learning comprises weekly pedagogy-based sessions, Further Professional Learning sessions, and opportunities to coach and mentor and to engage in research.
