Kitchen Assistant (part-time)

The Pointer School is an Independent Christian Prep and pre-Prep school in Blackheath, Southeast London. We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic catering team on a part-time basis.

A Kitchen Assistant is responsible for:

Basic food preparation;

• Washing up, cleaning and clearing all kitchen areas

• Serving food to the children and staff;

• Unloading and putting away deliveries;

• Emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors;

• Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly;

• Deep cleaning fridges and store rooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards;

Working hours are 8:30am – 2:30pm two days a week and is term-time only (18 weeks holiday per year). The position will commence in January 2026.
