Hours/Contract: Term-time, Full-time, Permanent. 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
The Role: We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and committed Kitchen Assistants to work alongside our expanding catering team and to take responsibility for food preparation, cooking and service of meals in our school canteen and outside hub area under the guidance of the Kitchen Manager. Previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous but not essential.
The Person: We are looking for someone with a current Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or willingness to undertake the necessary training to obtain this certificate. The post holder will be expected to follow instructions for food preparation, hygiene and health and safety issues, and should have proven experience of working in a similar role/catering environment with a can-do and flexible approach to their work.
