Bancroft’s School seeks a proactive individual to join its busy Catering Department. The role is an essential link in the smooth running of the kitchen and requires someone who can work to tight timescales, has a flexible approach, and is a team player. The successful candidate will be an excellent collaborative worker with a willingness to learn and share ideas.
The main responsibilities are to assist in the kitchen with deliveries, washing up, general cleanliness, to assist with any food preparation as directed and to maintain high hygiene and safety standards. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, term time only (34 weeks).

Located on the border between North-East London and Essex and backing on to Epping Forest, Bancroft’s is a co-educational independent day school for around 1200 pupils from 7 to 18.
Our pupils achieve outstanding academic outcomes. In 2023, 68% of our students achieved A-A at A Level and 74% of all entries were awarded the top grades of 9 or 8 at GCSE.
