Applications are invited for the post of Kitchen Porter (Weekends) at the Royal Masonic School for Girls. RMS is an independent, day and boarding school with a supportive and nurturing ethos. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with keen students and stunning surroundings. 

Reporting to the duty weekend Chef, this part time position is required in the Catering Department working 16 hours per week on Saturday and Sunday from 11.00am until 7.30pm, term time only. We will also consider candidates wishing to work either Saturday or Sunday. 

This is an important role, working as part of a busy team to deliver a high standard of food for our boarding community. The primary objective of the Kitchen Porter is to assist the Chef and Front of House (FOH) Team to maintain the high level of cleanliness required by a professional kitchen. Key tasks include the washing of crockery, utensils and equipment during each service, as well as maintaining the general cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
