KS 1 Teacher

Our Lady's Preparatory School in Crowthorne, Berkshire is seeking an outstanding practitioner to join our committed and enthusiastic staff as maternity cover for our Year 2 Teacher. We are a co-educational Independent Prep School with a reputation for providing outstanding pastoral care, a dedicated focus upon personal well-being and a lovely family environment and ethos. Class sizes are small and behaviour is outstanding.

The post is a critical appointment within the School. We are one-form entry and as such need a person who is able to drive the learning of the class forward at all times. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic and with a high degree of emotional intelligence.  

As a qualified professional, the class teacher will work collaboratively with all Teaching and Learning Assistants alongside ELSA support to ensure that the highest standards of care prevail across the setting. We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service. Job Types: Full-time, 12-month maternity cover
